In MW4 DMZ, the Door Breacher Charge is a one-use answer to a locked door, not a key you can carry from raid to raid. It matters because it opens rooms that normally demand a high-tier key, and those rooms often hold strong rewards. The catch is availability: there is no fixed spawn, so you cannot plan every run around finding one. If you are testing routes in MW4 Bot Lobbies, use those runs to learn which areas are worth opening before you risk the charge in a live deployment.
Where to Find the Charge
You have two ways to get one: buy it or craft it. Check the Vendor FOB Station after its daily stock refreshes; the charge may appear, but it is never guaranteed. The other route uses the 3D Printer. You need its recipe first, and the recipe can drop from random loot in Hajin. Keep searching as you move through the area, then extract safely once you find it. After that, gathering the materials is far less frustrating.
Materials for the Printer
Crafting needs three materials, with specific quantities for each. The table below gives a quick route check before you leave base.
Material Amount Where to look
Experimental Compounds 1 Defeat Commanders
Volatile Explosives 3 NuriGO Mall DRC lab, Citadel Prison Yard chemical buildings, and Imjin Farmland storage tents
Stock Rod 5 Imjin Farmland rice mill, Hajin City construction zone, and Namjjog Station
Using It Without Wasting It
Using the charge is easy, though a busy fight can make the prompt easy to miss. Walk to the locked door and interact as if you have the required key. When the key prompt appears, keep holding the interact button. You can override the requirement and consume the charge instead. It disappears immediately, so check the reward, nearby threats, and your exit before committing. The short sequence below keeps the process clear.
Check the reward and nearby exits.
Interact with the door and hold the interact input.
Enter, loot quickly, and leave before the area closes in.
Doors It Cannot Open
Do not take this item to every locked area. It will not open Gun Lockers or the Supreme Leader’s Bunker. It also cannot replace a keycard, and lockers are excluded. That makes the Air Base a poor target if you are chasing a locker or keycard room. Treat the charge as a room opener, not a universal pass. Save it for worthwhile loot and leave time for extraction. If your wider plan includes MW4 Leveling Boosting, use the charge to improve a deliberate route, not to force a risky push.
