Awaken Church’s commitment to empowering our community goes beyond Sunday services. Our Neighborhood Initiatives provide opportunities for our members to engage with their local Jacksonville community and make a difference where it’s needed most. From cleaning up local parks to serving meals at homeless shelters, we work to make a positive impact on the lives of those around us. We also partner with local ministries like Seamark Ranch, a foster care community that provides a healthy family culture for children who have experienced trauma. Our support of Seamark Ranch includes regular “Seamark Workdays” where we help with projects and build relationships with the children. We are committed to supporting their mission to care for and nurture these children who have been through so much. At our christian church in Jacksonville, FL, we believe that by working together, we can make a real difference in the world.
