Rockstar’s Motor Madness week, running from May 14 to May 20, 2026, is the sort of GTA Online event that actually makes sense once you get moving. It’s built around driving, making cash, and keeping your businesses ticking over, rather than forcing everyone into one dull playlist for hours. If you’re coming back after a break, or you’re checking out GTA V Accounts to skip some of the early slog, this is a decent week to jump in because the rewards are spread across activities people already like doing.

Start With The Weekly Challenge

The first thing I’d knock out is the Weekly Challenge. You only need to win two races, and that gets you the Dark Manor Racing Suit plus GTA$100,000. Sounds simple, though anyone who has raced in public lobbies knows how messy it can get. One bad corner, one driver who thinks your rear bumper is a braking zone, and there goes the win. Still, it’s worth doing early. Limited-time clothing has a habit of disappearing, and then everyone complains about missing it two days later. Pick races you know, use a car you trust, and don’t overthink it.

Land Races Are The Main Grind

After the challenge is done, Land Races should be your main stop. They’re paying four times cash and RP this week, which is a big deal if you can finish near the front. You don’t even have to sweat every single lobby like it’s a tournament. A few clean races can pay nicely, and the RP is useful if you’re still climbing ranks. Players on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S also get triple rewards from HSW Time Trials, though those are less forgiving. If you clip traffic or botch a turn, the clock won’t care. For a calmer option, Simeon Contact Missions are on triple rewards too, and sometimes shooting through a mission is exactly what you need after three chaotic races in a row.

The Salvage Yard Fits The Week Perfectly

The smart money this week sits with the Salvage Yard. Rockstar has doubled several parts of the business, including daily income, robbery target sales, salvage values, and Tow Truck work. That gives you a nice rhythm. Win your two races, run a few 4X Land Races, send out the Tow Truck, then clear your robbery targets when you’re ready. If you don’t own a Salvage Yard yet, the 40 percent discount makes it tempting. Just be honest with yourself before buying one. If you hate vehicle theft missions, don’t drain your bank account just because the sale looks good. But if you already enjoy that side of GTA Online, this week is made for it.

Cars Worth Chasing This Week

Collectors have a few things to chase while the money rolls in. The Lucky Wheel has the Benefactor LM87 up for grabs, so it’s worth taking your daily spin even if you usually forget. At the LS Car Meet, placing in the top five across five Series races can unlock the Benefactor Krieger, which is still a car plenty of players love for good reason. Luxury Autos is also showing off the Vapid FMJ MK V with the new Water Like livery, and it’s the kind of car people will either buy on sight or stand there judging for ten minutes. If you’re browsing GTA V Accounts for sale or building your garage the regular way, this is a strong week to mix racing, business work, and a bit of car hunting without feeling stuck in one loop.
